News, views, and layover reviews.℠
Hello. Here's who we are and who we bring to you.
CrewsPaper.com is an aviation newsroom and lifestyle platform built exclusively for professional flight crew — airline pilots, flight attendants, commercial pilots, and the broader aviation workforce. Our members are middle-to-upper income professionals with disposable income, free or reduced-rate travel privileges, and a very specific set of lifestyle needs that no other platform has ever properly addressed.
If you own a vacation rental property, operate a restaurant or business near a major crew layover hotel, or are looking to hire qualified flight crew, CrewsPaper.com is the most targeted channel available to reach them.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently more than 99,000 active airline pilots and copilots in the United States, and approximately 130,000 flight attendants. Add roughly 52,000 commercial pilots flying charter, corporate, and fractional operations, and the total certificated pilot population across all categories exceeds 500,000. The majority of these professionals receive free or significantly reduced-rate travel as a condition of their employment.

The guest who can fly to you on 48 hours' notice.
Airline crew members receive their monthly flying schedule approximately two weeks before the month begins. Most have several extended periods of consecutive days off during each month — often four to nine days at a stretch — making them ideal candidates for last-minute vacation rental bookings. They have the free time, the free travel, and the income to use a rental property on short notice.
The challenge has always been connecting them to available properties at the right moment. CrewsPaper.com solves this through CrewLink™, our built-in matching system. When you post an available or last-minute vacancy, the system instantly notifies crew members whose schedules and destination preferences overlap with your dates.
Crew members who stay at listed properties are encouraged to write about their experience on CrewsPaper.com — creating authentic, peer-reviewed content that benefits future bookings. Listing fees are flat and annual. There are no booking commissions and no transaction cuts. Payment goes directly between you and your guest.

CrewsPaper.com was founded by Captain Jeff Broomall, who developed the original concept while flying for Comair Airlines. The platform is built on the same premise that drove that original idea: professional flight crew have always had needs — for layover information, for vacation rental connections, for career resources — that no existing platform was designed to meet.
The platform is member-supported. Crew members pay a flat monthly subscription for full access. Vendors — property owners, merchants, and employers — pay reasonable flat listing fees to reach that audience. All vendor listings are subject to review and approval. The platform is designed to benefit crew members first — which is also what makes it a worthwhile channel for the vendors who serve them.
