About CrewsPaper

News, views, and layover reviews.℠

CrewsPaper was built because no platform existed for professional flight crew that covered all of their real needs in one place — not written for tourists, not written by journalists who don't fly for a living, and not built on the assumption that crew have the same travel lifestyle as everyone else.

The apps and websites that exist for travelers aren't built for crew. Yelp doesn't know you have no car. Airbnb doesn't know you can fly anywhere for free on 48 hours' notice. LinkedIn doesn't know the specific financial and career math of an ATP with 15,000 hours who just got furloughed.

What CrewsPaper is

A subscription-funded digital media platform for pilots and flight attendants in Part 121 and Part 135 operations. AI-curated aviation news. Original articles written by verified crew. A creator earnings program that pays crew members to write what they know. Crewbates™ — a deals and vacation matching section built around free air travel and large blocks of consecutive days off. A jobs board. And Plan B — career resilience resources for when the industry does what it does.

What makes it different

The creator earnings program is transparent — we publish the split, it's in writing, and we commit to 30 days advance notice before any material change. The content is verified. The platform works offline.

The founder

CrewsPaper was founded by a professional pilot with Part 121 experience at Comair Airlines and Shuttle America, and Part 135 experience with Delta Private Jets (later Wheels Up). The platform was built because it didn't exist — and it should have.
